Post by: Jim (Chairman) on 21/04/2015, 09:31:39 AM
Just brought myself a Sukhoi SU-31. Private sale via Mikes Models.

Manufactured by Topmodel CZ: http://www.topmodelcz.cz/index.php?&desktop_back=eshop&action_back=&id_back=&desktop=eshop&action=zbozi_detail&id=1133 (http://www.topmodelcz.cz/index.php?&desktop_back=eshop&action_back=&id_back=&desktop=eshop&action=zbozi_detail&id=1133)

Power by Overlander motor and JP ESC. 1300mAh 3 cell LiPo up front.

Nice airframe, reasonably well applied decals.

Hi Jim looks a decent model, i love a sukhoi, next to the Extra it's one of my favorites. What size airframe is it if it only fly's on a 1300 3s.
Cheer's Andy

Andy,

It's another little 'un. 900mm or 36" span. Needs some work. Cowl mounts are all bad, needs re-engineering. No down / right thrust in the motor mount that I can see. Bubble canopey is OK but needs some trim lines to make it look good.

Gonna try to maiden my Extra 300 (same size 36") tomorrow as the wind to predicted to be very low...

Cheers!
