All,
As John quite rightly pointed out at the weekend, a RadJet 800 is NOT the best second aircraft to try to develop flying skills with?!
To that end, I've just ordered a Max Thrust Riot ARTF (PNP) from Wheelspin.
I've also got an FrSky D8R-II Plus RX coming from T9, so hopefully it should all be flight ready for the weekend....
Yeah! RIOT!

I was really impressed when I flew a RIOT - good choice Jim.
As I understand it you need to check the quality of fit, and check the included hardware. But once everything's "right" it's a great model.
When you're ready for some extra performance, there's a weight you can remove from the front to move the C/G back. You can also fit a 4S battery if you change the prop size to keep current within bounds.

Chris,
Yes, that's what I've been told by all the Riot owners, but I should be able to sort most fitting issues out.
Also, I've found that Century UK still have a GREEN decal set available for them! Green as in Greenacres.
Look forward to giving it a go...

RIOT maidened!
Flies great, no trim needed.
Lighter aircraft than my Arising Star so get blown around a bit, but very manageable.
Really pleased with it...

That's great Jim, well done. I'm sure you'll really enjoy that one.
